In the summer of 2014 Dr. Ligia Papale was awarded a 2015 Young Investigator award from NARSAD.
In the Spring of 2014 two talented undergraduate students undertook research projects in the laboratory. Here they are presenting their work during a poster symposium at the Union South on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison WI.
In the Spring of 2014 Sisi presented a poster in New York City at the annual Society of Biological Psychiatry meeting. She, Ligia, and Reid all had poster presentations at the Midwest Chromatin and Epigenetics meeting in Madison WI.
Once per week we have a lab meeting to discuss results and plan projects. A small presentation to the group is given whenever major milestones are achieved. Everyone in the lab is encouraged to participate, present experiment achievements, and discuss any impeding obstacles.
Our lab meets for happy hour on the second Friday of every month. This is informal and a great opportunity to get to know each other better. Science is usually not the main topic to discuss here…
